As the state capital, Lucknow has large government and private data centres, along with network operations rooms for banks and telecom companies. It is also home to aerospace and defence electronics work, national research laboratories and some of the biggest hospitals in north India. Static control matters in all of them. We build antistatic and ESD floors that are earthed, tested and suited to how each room is actually used.

Data centres and network rooms

Most data halls use raised access floors, and the panels usually come with their own static-control finish. Problems often start underneath:

  • A bare concrete sub-floor sheds dust into the underfloor air that cools the servers.
  • Cable and pipe penetrations leave rough, dusty edges.
  • The sub-floor isn't bonded into the earthing system.

We seal the sub-floor with an antistatic coating that stops dusting. UPS rooms, battery rooms, network rooms and staging areas without raised floors can take a full ESD floor. Work is scheduled in coordination with your change windows and protected from running equipment.

Aerospace and defence electronics

Units making or supporting avionics and defence electronics usually work to formal ESD control programmes. Their floors are specified to a resistance range, installed as part of a documented ESD protected area and tested regularly. We build to the specification, provide test readings at handover and can repair and retest sections later without disturbing the rest.

Research laboratories

Research labs in Lucknow handle sensitive instruments, electronics and sometimes flammable solvents. Depending on the room, the need might be static dissipative flooring for instruments or conductive flooring where solvent vapours are present. We look at each room separately.

Hospitals

Operation theatres, ICUs and cath labs in Lucknow's large hospitals often call for antistatic floors. These are built as jointless self levelling floors with coved skirting, so they meet both the static and infection control requirements.

Questions to answer before you get a quote

  • What resistance range does your specification require?
  • Is the room an electronics protected area, a hospital area, or an area with flammable materials?
  • Will ESD or conductive footwear be used?
  • What loads, trolleys or racks will the floor carry?
  • Can the room be closed, or must work be phased?

Having these answers makes the quote accurate and avoids a floor that doesn't meet your requirement.

FAQs

Should a data centre sub-floor be coated?

Yes, in most cases. Sealing it stops concrete dust from entering the cooling airflow and adds static control underneath the raised floor.

Can you work around live equipment?

Yes, with careful dust control and protection. We plan the sequence with your facility team.

Do you provide test records?

Yes. We give you resistance readings and test locations at handover for your records.
