Kaizen Flooring & Developers is a flooring company based in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. We install resin and concrete floor systems for factories, warehouses, pharma and food plants, hospitals, laboratories, car parks and commercial buildings across north India. Choosing an industrial floor isn't really about picking the "best" product. It's about matching each area of a building to the system that suits what happens on that floor. This page is a guide to our systems and where each one fits.
| System | In one line | Typical areas |
|---|---|---|
| Epoxy flooring | Hard, jointless, economical resin floors from thin coatings to thick screeds | Warehouses, factories, stores, showrooms |
| PU floor coating | Thin, flexible, washable, colour-stable coating | Food units, hospitals, cold-chain aisles |
| PU self levelling | Smooth, quiet, seamless 2 to 4 mm hygienic floor | Hospitals, labs, pharma cleanrooms, offices |
| PU concrete | 4 to 9 mm heavy-duty floor for heat, water and chemicals | Food, dairy, meat plants, kitchens, pharma wash areas |
| EPU flooring | Epoxy-PU hybrid: hard, flexible and colour stable | Docks, press shops, sunny warehouses |
| Epoxy-PU hybrid WB | Water-based, low-odour version of EPU | Occupied offices, hospitals, schools, hotels |
| Antistatic ESD flooring | Conductive or dissipative floors, earthed and tested | Electronics, data centres, OTs, powder areas |
| Chemical resistant flooring | Linings chosen for specific acids and solvents | Plating, pickling, labs, battery rooms, ETPs |
| Concrete densifier and polish | Hardens concrete from within, no coating to peel | Large warehouses, godowns, polished interiors |
| Epoxy cementitious | Moisture-tolerant screed and barrier | Damp slabs, new slabs, basements |
| Damaged concrete repair | Epoxy repair of cracks, joints, spalls and base plates | Any damaged floor before or instead of coating |
| Car park flooring | Coatings for basements, ramps and open decks | Malls, societies, hospitals, offices |
| Wall coating and coving | Hygienic walls and floor-to-wall coves | Food, pharma, hospitals, kitchens |
Mostly dust and foot traffic? An epoxy coating or concrete densifier is usually enough.
Forklifts, dropped parts, vibration? Epoxy screed or EPU.
Sunlight through doors and glass? EPU or UV-stable PU topcoats, since standard epoxy yellows.
Hot water, steam, washdowns? PU concrete laid to falls with proper drains.
Strong acids or solvents? A chemical resistant system chosen for the chemicals.
Cleanrooms, hospitals, labs? PU self levelling with coves, or an antistatic grade where needed.
People working nearby and odour is a problem? The water-based hybrid WB.
Damp or new slab? Moisture testing, then epoxy cementitious or moisture-tolerant primers.
Most plants need more than one floor. A typical pharma or food plant might have PU concrete in wash areas, PU self levelling in production rooms, EPU on dispatch docks, epoxy in warehouses and coated walls with coves throughout. Specifying each area properly costs less than using an expensive system everywhere, and lasts longer than using a cheap one everywhere.
We're based in Roorkee and regularly work in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR and Uttar Pradesh, with projects further afield planned individually. City-specific pages are linked from each system page above.
It depends on the conditions. PU concrete is best for heat and water, epoxy screeds and EPU for impact, chemical resistant systems for chemicals. The most durable floor is the one matched to the use.
Yes. A site survey with moisture and strength checks is part of every quote.
Usually, by phasing work area by area or during planned shutdowns.
