Kaizen Flooring & Developers is a flooring company based in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. We install resin and concrete floor systems for factories, warehouses, pharma and food plants, hospitals, laboratories, car parks and commercial buildings across north India. Choosing an industrial floor isn't really about picking the "best" product. It's about matching each area of a building to the system that suits what happens on that floor. This page is a guide to our systems and where each one fits.

Choosing by what happens on the floor

Mostly dust and foot traffic? An epoxy coating or concrete densifier is usually enough.

Forklifts, dropped parts, vibration? Epoxy screed or EPU.

Sunlight through doors and glass? EPU or UV-stable PU topcoats, since standard epoxy yellows.

Hot water, steam, washdowns? PU concrete laid to falls with proper drains.

Strong acids or solvents? A chemical resistant system chosen for the chemicals.

Cleanrooms, hospitals, labs? PU self levelling with coves, or an antistatic grade where needed.

People working nearby and odour is a problem? The water-based hybrid WB.

Damp or new slab? Moisture testing, then epoxy cementitious or moisture-tolerant primers.

Mixing systems in one building

Most plants need more than one floor. A typical pharma or food plant might have PU concrete in wash areas, PU self levelling in production rooms, EPU on dispatch docks, epoxy in warehouses and coated walls with coves throughout. Specifying each area properly costs less than using an expensive system everywhere, and lasts longer than using a cheap one everywhere.

How we work

  1. Survey: slab moisture, strength, cracks, joints, chemicals, temperatures and how each area is used
  2. Recommendation: a written, area-by-area specification and quote
  3. Planning: phasing around production, shutdowns, weather and access
  4. Installation: mechanical preparation, repairs, and the specified systems
  5. Handover: curing times, cleaning guidance, and test readings where relevant, such as for ESD floors

Where we work

We're based in Roorkee and regularly work in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR and Uttar Pradesh, with projects further afield planned individually. City-specific pages are linked from each system page above.

FAQs

Which industrial floor is the most durable?

It depends on the conditions. PU concrete is best for heat and water, epoxy screeds and EPU for impact, chemical resistant systems for chemicals. The most durable floor is the one matched to the use.

Do you visit before quoting?

Yes. A site survey with moisture and strength checks is part of every quote.

Can you work while our plant keeps running?

Usually, by phasing work area by area or during planned shutdowns.
