Many units there make wiring harnesses, sensors, lighting, controllers and other parts that increasingly contain electronics. Pharma and chemical units in the area handle powders and solvents. Both groups need static control, for different reasons. We install antistatic and ESD floors built to the requirement of each area.
Vehicle manufacturers and their tier one suppliers now expect ESD controls from the units that build electronic parts for them. For assembly areas handling boards, sensors and control modules, that usually means:
Wire harness areas without exposed electronics usually don't need ESD flooring. We help define which areas do, so you don't pay for more floor than your customer requires.
In powder handling and solvent areas, static is an ignition hazard. The floor type, conductive or dissipative, and its resistance range should come from your safety assessment. We build the floor to that requirement and make sure it also meets hygiene needs where applicable.
Moisture. Sitarganj's high water table means ground-floor slabs can be damp. Resin floors laid over damp slabs blister, and blistering can break the conductive path. We test every slab and use a suitable primer or barrier layer when moisture is high.
Heat. Hot summer slabs speed up curing and make self levelling finishes harder to lay well. We schedule pours for cooler hours.
Sitarganj is a longer trip from our Roorkee base, so we plan to keep things efficient:
If a neighbouring unit in Rudrapur or Pantnagar also needs flooring, combining the work helps both schedules.
The slab is prepared and primed. Copper tape is laid in a grid and taken to earthing points. A conductive primer connects the whole surface to the grid. The ESD epoxy or PU finish goes on top. Your electrician connects the earthing points to building earth, and we test the finished floor.
Find out the resistance range and test method your customer requires, and mark out the areas where electronic parts are exposed. With that, we can give an accurate quote.
Yes. Shutdowns are a good time, because the floor needs a few days to cure before full use and testing.
We test at handover. Periodic retesting can be done by your quality team with the right meter, or arranged with us.
