New plants in the SIDCUL estates

Plants in SIDCUL Haridwar and Pantnagar are often built quickly to meet production or licensing dates. Concrete slabs need weeks to dry before an epoxy or PU finish floor can safely go on them, and in the monsoon that period stretches further.

Many epoxy cementitious systems can go down on younger, damper concrete, within the limits the manufacturer sets. Once cured, they act as a temporary moisture barrier, and the finish floor can follow. This can bring floor completion forward and reduce the risk of blistering later.

Damp ground floors

In the Terai belt around Pantnagar and Sitarganj, groundwater is high. In the foothills around Dehradun and Haridwar, rain is heavy and long. Many older ground-floor slabs in these areas never really dry out. Coatings laid on them blister. Epoxy cementitious is much more tolerant of this moisture, either as the finished floor or as a base for a topcoat.
