Car park flooring in Agra

Agra's parking floors carry a type of traffic most cities don't: tour coaches. Hotels near the Taj and along Fatehabad Road park large buses and tempo travellers alongside guests' cars. Coaches are much heavier than cars and turn in tight arcs, so they grind floors down fast. Add Agra's extreme summer heat and constant dust, and car park floors here need more thought than a simple coat of paint.

Using the same thin coating everywhere leads to failures in the coach areas within months. Planning the zones properly avoids that.

Heat and hot tyre pick-up

In an Agra summer, open parking surfaces get extremely hot. Some coatings soften at high temperatures, and hot tyres can lift or mark them, a problem known as hot tyre pick-up. For open and partly covered areas, we choose systems rated for high surface temperatures and UV exposure. For enclosed basements, heat is less of an issue.

Dust

Agra's dust gets into everything. Uncoated concrete adds to it as tyres wear the surface. A sealed, coated floor cuts down dust from the floor itself and makes sweeping and scrubbing much quicker. During installation, we protect fresh coatings from windblown dust, which otherwise spoils the finish.

Hospitals and commercial buildings in Agra use car park coatings for dust control, oil resistance, better lighting in basements and safer ramps. Marking covers bays, ambulance routes, pedestrian walkways and exits.

2. Zoning, with a different specification for coaches, cars, ramps and walkways
3. Surface preparation, oil removal and repair of spalled concrete
4. Primer and wearing coats, with texture where needed

Timing

The best months for coating open parking in Agra are October to March, when slab temperatures are manageable. Basements can be done year-round. For hotels, we plan around peak tourist seasons and major events.

FAQs

Can a coating take tour coach traffic?

Standard car park coatings can't. Coach bays and turning areas need a thicker heavy duty system, or sometimes concrete repair and a hardener instead of a coating.

Will the floor get too hot or soft in summer?

We select systems suited to high surface temperatures for open areas. Enclosed basements don't face the same heat.

Can the porch area look more decorative?

Yes. The porch and drop-off can have a different colour or textured finish while staying slip resistant.
