Noida has some of the largest basement car parks in the NCR. Office campuses, malls and high-rise societies in Greater Noida West often run two or three levels deep. Big basements magnify small problems. A little dust becomes a haze, a slightly slippery ramp becomes a daily accident risk, and poor signage means drivers circling for ten minutes. A good car park floor system handles all three.

Office campuses and malls

For commercial basements, the floor is part of the visitor's first impression. The main goals are usually:

• A clean, bright floor that doesn't shed dust onto cars or into the ventilation system
• Clear wayfinding, with colour-coded levels or zones, large bay numbers and direction arrows
• Safe pedestrian routes from bays to lift cores, marked and sometimes textured differently
• Durability in drive aisles, where traffic is heaviest

We typically use a heavy-duty epoxy or PU system in drive aisles, a lighter build in bays and textured coatings on ramps and walkways.

High-rise societies in Greater Noida West

Many societies were handed over with basic concrete basements and little marking. Common requests from RWAs include:

• sealing dusty basement floors
• fixing slippery ramps
• adding bay numbers and resident allocation markings
• stopping leaks from podiums and landscaped decks above the basement

For leaking podiums, we recommend a flexible, crack-bridging PU deck system rather than a basic floor coating, which would crack with the slab.

Builder handover defects

If your society has recently taken over from the builder, it is worth documenting parking floor defects early. We can survey the basement and give a written condition report that notes worn surfaces, cracks, leaks and drainage problems, which the committee can use in discussions. The report describes what we find. It does not assign blame.

Design details that matter in big basements

Ramp grip. Coarse aggregate broadcast into the coating gives traction on inclines, especially curved ramps.

Turning areas. Tyres scrub the floor where cars turn tightly. These spots get a tougher build.

Drains and sumps. Water brought in by cars in the monsoon must reach the drains. We check falls before coating.

Columns. Column bases get scraped by bumpers. Painting a band of high-visibility colour on columns reduces those knocks.

Lighting. Light grey floors reflect much more light than bare concrete, which helps deep basements.

Keeping the car park open

We work level by level or zone by zone, with barriers, signage and night shifts where needed. Vehicles return to each coated section after the cure time we specify, usually a few days.
